My Story

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY,  Lamont Paulin, formally known as LDPaul, is a Haitian-Bajan American Screenwriter, Novelist, Poet, Creative & Film Director, & Video Editor, to name a few of his hats. His work is informed by his passion for literature, music, cinema, digital art, pop culture and social commentary. His work could also be described as nostalgic and abstract. He proves to highlight his influences and vision through his desire to entertain others, as he wants to help add color and fantasy to a world that’s staunchly bleak and rooted in realism. Interested in exploring alternative and experimental mediums of visual and literary art, he strives to use his skills to tell stories that feature innovative and unconventional perspectives.
